20th Annual Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo

September 26 & 27, 2008 - 7:30 pm

 Kansas’ ranching heritage traces over a century of history and the Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo host some of Kansas’ largest and oldest ranches in the state. Many of these ranches beginnings trace back to Barber County and this area.

  Twelve Ranch teams are invited to compete in team events much like day work on the ranch with thrilling action in the Calf Branding, Cattle Doctoring, Double Mugging, Team Penning, Wild Cow Milking. The Ranch Bronc Riding is only one cowboy, riding with a ranch saddle, and 'Ride as Ride Can'. Teams come from all parts of Kansas to compete for the chance to go the the World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo, Texas, each November.

Saturday tickets are for the Buster McLaury event and the Kansas State Championship Ranch Rodeo.
Tickets may be purchased with personal check by mail or at the admission gate.

Rodeo at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday:
Buster's Equine Demonstrations
will be at the Rodeo Arena, Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
Rodeo at 7:30 p.m.
